Love Story

Annie Mcandrew first saw him at a mascarade ball her parents were having in honor of her brother's home coming from the war. He, Jacob Dean, fell instantly in love with the beautiful green-eyed, brown curly-haired girl. She talked and laughed to her friends. He heard her laugh and instantly fell in love with the angel. Annie noticed him looking at her and smiled. She started to walk over. He looked strangely familiar. A flashback:

London- at an art museum- he'd worked there and always marveled her paintings. His gorgeous European accent was thrilling, something new, an adventure! They had talked once or twice always about art never about each other. That's what she'd remembered, but even then she knew him from before.

They played in the garden when they were ten. They had fallen in love, but Jacob's dad had shipped him off to London School for Gentlemen. He hoped he would see her again. But it had been years! Eleven years to be exact. Annie probably had moved on. Jacob hoped when she'd see him at the dance she'd remember him.

He walked toward her; she walked toward him. They started to waltz; it was like nothing had separated them.

They fell in love all over again, just like when they were ten.

A Sea Struck War

A sea struck war.
Anger and frustration occured.
Bombs going off.
How many lives will be lost.
Too many to count.
     Down
        Down
            Down
it goes.
Into the deep ocean.
Just like that unsinkable ship.
That plane will never see sunlight again.
War is anger unfurled.
Ocean: clam or troubled: frozen.
Tears: salty with misery
People with family and loved ones
    Gone.
All is lost and forgotten
Down into the depths of the sea.
Darkness and coldness
All gone. Lost. Forever.

The Door:

It was so bright
          so exciting
It was something to explore.
   A door.
Mysterious
Suspicious
What was behind it? I was going to find out.
I turned the skeleton key, the door opened. I jumped inside: all i saw was darkness.
I was falling:
   Down
      Down
         Down
             I went.
Will it end?
I hope so.
It keeps going. Finally i stop, land on the floor, there's so much to see.
Was this just my imagination? A dream? No because I'd been here before.
It was magnificant then everything blurred. I woke up. It had been a dream.
